Internships

We have internship positions throughout the year for mature students who are interested in issues pertaining to Environmental Protection, Handicraft development, Women’s development. Interns need stamina, sense of adventure and a good sense of humor. They should have good self motivation, can work independently, and be able to communicate well with others. Chinese language skills are helpful. Good command of English spoken and written, a must.

Membership and Contributions

Your membership means a lot to us.  All membership dues go directly to building better programs and facilities for our projects.  We are conservationists at heart.  Together we can invest in preserving cultural heritge and promoting sustainable eco-tourism projects in Diqing. We thank you for your interest in these projects.

a) Friends of Shangri-La:  annual membership is 50.00 USD or the equivalent in HKD or RMB

b) Contributions can be any amount. All contributions will go directly to YMHF projects and be used to promote handicrafts, cultural heritage and eco-tourism in Diqing Prefecture.
